About The DSL Process

Once your order is placed for DSL service it is assigned to the local phone company 'SBC' for testing / set-up. At that time the local phone company assigns a technician to 'verify' your phone lines to ensure that DSL will work at your location. If there are any problems with your line, we are notified, and we notify you ASAP. If anything 'special is required" to be done to get your service up and working. If there are no problems with the line. The local phone company then sets-up the line to accept DSL services.

You then receive the equipment through UPS, or some other similar shipping method.

IMPORTANT!
It is at this point that you need to make sure that your computer has a working network interface card (nic) that accepts a RJ45 network cable or a working USB port. (most standard nic cards will work)
A network card is NOT included in your DSL order, SYIX.COM can provide this specific Equipment at a modest cost.

SDSL / Commercial services
Will have New Edge contact you to schedule an Installation appointment, we advise that you have your IS (computer consultant - network manager) person present when the installation is scheduled, this will allow your system to better integrate with your new connection.
