Nevada

How many complaints against Terminix have been filed in Nevada?  How does the State of Nevada rate as a public agency in providing information to the public and/or in their own knowledge of pest control companies that spray toxic chemicals in homes?

On December 12, 1998, I sent an e-mail letter to the State of Nevada’s Attorney General’s Office asking the questions below. A letter dated January 21, 1998, from the Nevada General’s Office stated:

I am forwarding your letter of December 12, 1998, to the Nevada Division of Agriculture. That agency has the information you requested in your letter.  For your records, the address for the Division of Agriculture is 350 Capitol Hill Ave., Reno, Nevada 89502.

After receiving no response from the Department of Agriculture, I sent them a letter on February 25, 1999, asking the same questions.  On March 11, I received a telephone call asking if I had received a response, an apology, and a promise that I would soon receive the information I requested. The promised information was received March 15; however, the letter was dated February 3.  The answers shown to my questions below were provided by Lee M. Lawrence II, Agriculturist III, with the Nevada Department of Business and Industry.
