How many complaints against Terminix have been filed in Vermont? How does the State of Vermont rate as a public agency in providing information to the public and in their own knowledge of the pest control companies spraying toxic chemicals in homes? |

The following questions were sent via e-mail on February 28, 1999, to the State of Vermont, Department of Agriculture. Other than the following e-mail on March 1, 1999, there has been no further response to date. I have forwarded your message to Jim Leland, Agrichemicals Supervisor. All future regulatory inquiries should be directed to him at: jim@agr.state.vt.us Denise Russo How many complaints, if any, have been filed in Vermont against Terminix International (and its aka’s); including the nature of the complaints, name and location of Terminix branch involved; and disposition of complaints (dismissed, settled, fine, suspended or revoked license, probation, etc.)? Pending? What is the name and address of Vermont’s pest inspection/pest control licensing and regulating agency? Pending? How many years does Vermont’s licensing and regulating agency maintain records of complaints against pest control/pest inspection companies? Pending? How many Terminix branches are currently operating in Vermont? (My records, taken from the Yellow Pages on the Internet) indicate there are currently no Terminix, aka Terminix International branches operating in Vermont. Pending? No further response to date. |
