the program would be identified through a network including
Yuba Sutter Senior Services, Sutter-Yuba Mental Health,
various home health providers, and community members. This
network will be supported by the "Citizens Concerned for
Seniors" group. The program is managed by a volunteer
coordinator and the volunteers who make the calls come from
the older citizen community. Training is provided by

weeks to insure that the needs of both the volunteer and the
participant are being met and information collected.
Procedures regarding confidentiality, referrals and
emergency response will be established and included in
volunteer training.
If you know a senior who would like to be called, or who
would like to become a volunteer caller please call Laurie
Desmond or Sharon Pasicznyuk.
